Testimonials

"My daughter of 10 has become a very competent and confident rider, in which has been achieved through Marie’s group and private lessons. Marie has educated my daughter on stable management, core riding skills, and lots of encouragement to venture out and try new activities. Marie has taught my daughter to show jump (achieving a metre high), supported and advised her when attending her first cross country and my daughter also enjoys the musical rides that Marie choreographs to great sounds. I highly recommend her, for any age or capability. Thanks Marie"

"I decided to learn to ride earlier this year and expected great things of myself- but it can be said I'm not a natural.
With Marie she has taught me to slow down with my expectations. She is down to earth, which I love, she is patient which is needed in my case and she is instructive-her observant eye spots the errors and quickly sorts me out. I truly enjoy my lessons and look forward to each weekend, Marie makes want to learn and that is so important"

"After about a year of weekly group riding lessons with Marie, I still look forward to finding out what interesting and fun things she may have planned for our next lesson. The challenging variety in our lessons keeps us both, the riders and the horses, on our toes. Marie's attitude to teaching is a great balance of instruction and fun. She is very knowledgeable, encouraging and positive, and knows how to get the best out of her horses and riders. She inspires confidence in my abilities and I feel I am learning all the time. Thanks Marie, keep up the good work!"

"I started taking lessons with Marie about two and a half years ago when I returned to riding after a very long absence. Marie is super at keeping things fun and interesting and even after all this time, still manages to incorporate new exercises into her classes that I have not done before. She knows her riders’ abilities very well, and encourages you to try things with your horse that you never thought possible! Marie has also been teaching my two young daughters to ride. Watching them rapidly progress from lead line to riding independently and confidently on their own, because of Marie’s coaching, has been so incredibly rewarding. Marie is a knowledgeable and confidence building instructor, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her for children and adults alike in both group and private lessons"

"I have been riding as an adult for 18 months now, having had a long period of absence and not very much skill or confidence before as a child. Marie did my assessment lesson and I decided to carry on having regular lessons, hacks and attending her group coffee morning lessons. These have enabled me to build my confidence and skill as Marie is excellent at planning her lessons and pushing me to achieve those aims, and also building in exercises for my core strength and flexibility.Marie is very patient and good at varying her lessons to get the best out of her clients. I have never been bored during my lessons and Marie has helped me to build my confidence during the time I have been riding with her."
